Chrome Version : 1.0.154.48 URLs (if applicable) : Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: OK Firefox 3: OK IE 6,7: OK What steps will reproduce the problem? The below input seems to having ui refresh issue only in chrome (on XP, didn't checked on vista though). <input style="float:left;" maxlength="10" /> [Using only keyboard] 1. just enter maxchars, 2. then press "home key" within the input to set caret to the begining 3. now press "delete key" What is the expected result? 4.a the string in the input should get deleted till there is nothing left. What happens instead? 4.b notice the ui doesn't refresh now in the input though the content is getting removed. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
