Comment #55 on issue 2636 by johnywhy: Cache form data so edits are not lost if you naivgate and then come back http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=2636
hm, ok, weird, i deleted a post on this thread. then i closed the tab. then i reopened the tab with SHIFT-CTRL-T. then i clicked back, and lo and behold, there was the post i had deleted. how does that happen? next, i set chrome to "restore the pages that were open last" in chrome options. then i deleted a post on this thread, and exited chrome completely. then i relaunched chrome, hit "back" on this page, and there was the post i had deleted. this stuff is getting stored or 'cached' somehow by chrome. they should apply the same technique to form-results pages. like, behind the scenes, trick chrome's 'back' function into thinking that form results are just a normal web-page. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
