I believe the previous comment is the correct approach to solve this issue, but something that I don't like about the current behavior that I haven't seen brought up yet, is that if the browser is set to "Restore the pages that were last open", then the tab that was just closed, which also closes the browser down, comes back up when the browser is restarted.
