Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 8292 by andy.st: Cannot use formatting menu in Google Sites (Jotspot) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8292
Chrome Version : 2.0.166.1 URLs (if applicable) : http://sites.google.com Other browsers tested: Firefox 3.0.5: OK Chrome 1.0.154.48: OK (as far as I remember) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Go to sites.google.com and start editing a page 2. In the (rich text) editor, scroll down (the issue is worse when scrolling is involved). 3. Select one or more words with the mouse, then click on "Format" or any other menu option. What is the expected result? In Firefox 3, it shows the Format options as a list right below the "Format" button. What happens instead? When no scrolling is involved, it might show the Format menu list somewhere at the bottom of the screen. If scrolling is involved, it doesn't show anything (= the format options are not shown / completely broken). Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. I can't test it with Chrome 1.0 right now since I'd have to reinstall Chrome. But as far as I remember, this is a regression and used to work fine in Chrome 1.0.
