igitur: thanks for the additional info on Privoxy. I opened issue 8325 for the Privoxy problem. Re: comment 28: Chromium does not share settings with Firefox. To set preference settings in Chromium, click the "wrench" icon (at the upper right corner) and select the "Options" menu item. We don't have the preference settings equivalent to the Firefox settings I listed in comment 26 yet.
