New issue 8356 by mookster: Opening a new tab, URL bar isn't selected  
automatically

Other browsers tested: IE7, Firefox 3
   Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 3:
     Firefox 3: OK
          IE 7: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use keyboard shortcut CTRL-T or click the New Tab (+) button
2. Start typing - nothing happens, URL bar isn't selected
3. Need to click URL bar manually or hit F6/Alt-D to start typing/searching

What is the expected result?
URL bar should be selected automatically

What happens instead?
Nothing - unable to type in URL bar without manually selecting it
