Comment #7 on issue 8325 by igitur: NTLM authentication to a proxy doesn't work if Privoxy sits in between http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8325
Ok, now I feel stupid. I totally forgot that my company's proxy accepts both NTLM and BASIC authentication. I confirm that the current DEV release does authenticate with BASIC. Firefox uses BASIC too. So this isn't a regression. I get the "The server xxx at xxx requires a username and password." with Chrome DEV. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
