http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8628
Chrome Version : 2.0.166.1
URLs (if applicable) : none
Other browsers tested: none
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 3:
Firefox 3:
IE 7:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have opened many tabs
2. I want to switch between them or refresh them, or open a new page in a
new tab
3. I have to wait for long until it renders or redraws
What is the expected result?
The tabs render instantly
What happens instead?
I have to wait ca. 30 sec., meanwhile it remains blank.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I am using Google Chrome on my laptop with Windows Vista and 1GB RAM. The
application itself is running smoothly, the tabs change immediately, but
the content isn't following. When I click on any other tab, it gets its
focus but the page remains blank. After ca. 30 seconds the contents shows.
Even if I open new tab, I can instantly type any address, but when I click
Enter, it takes about 30 sec. to see the website. Meanwhile I can see the
blank page and the spinning wheel. I think it's some rendering issue.
I am attaching the about:memory page.
