Versions of Google Chrome earlier than 2.0.166.0 (not sure of the exact
number) use
WinHTTP for downloading. There is a bug in WinHTTP that prevents downloads
larger
than 2 GB. Newer versions of Google Chrome use a custom networking stack
that does
not have this problem.
