Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 8910 by martin.porcheron: Localhost does not work without internet connection http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8910
Chrome Version : 2.0.170.0 (I've seen it in a few previous versions) URLs (if applicable) : http://localhost/ Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: OK Firefox 3: OK IE 7: OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Visit http://localhost/ while connected to inet - works 2. Disconnect Wifi/Wired Connection 3. Repeat Step 1, get "Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): The server could not be found." error. Just as an aside error, the error page which you get that error still says "The web page at null might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.". Its said null since I have had Google Chrome, which is day zero. What is the expected result? What happens instead? Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
