Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 8976 by jmyoder: Back button after form submission seems broken in recent builds http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8976
Chrome Version : 2.0.170.0 URLs (if applicable) : http://www.uni-nets.com/chrometests/brokenforms.php Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: Firefox 3: OK IE 7: OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open http://www.uni-nets.com/chrometests/brokenforms.php 2. Type in "test" in the box and press "Submit" 3. Press the "back" button on the browser What is the expected result? The page you get after pressing "back" should be the original page What happens instead? Instead you get the form submitted page again Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. If you press "forward" and then "back" again it does force a reload of the original page. This looks like maybe it's a caching issue. I first noticed this about 2 weeks ago but hadn't had time to create a simple test case until now. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
