I'm having the same problem here, one thing interesting to add is when you  
go to
"Options" > "Edit visible calendars" the list have the right number of  
options
(calendars) but no names for them.

I've opened the gadget frame on a new tab and noticed an error:
- Refused to set unsafe header "Authorization"

I know that it should work because I did the same under IE8 and the gadget  
loaded as
a standalone tab with no problems.
