I have Acrobat Reader 9 and "1.0.154.48" version of Chrome. Whenever I try to open a pdf URL, instead of opening it in the window, it merely downloads the pdf as a file. (Dragging the pdf file and dropping on a chrome window succeeds in opening the pdf inside chrome. ) Acrobat Reader -> Edit -> Internet -> Display PDF in browser is set.
