New issue 9480 by SIMSLIM: Can't type ampersand in input-elements

   Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 4: OK
   Firefox 3.x: OK
          IE 7: OK
          IE 8: -

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use any input-element
2. Try to typ the &-sign (shift+7)

What is the expected result?
  An ampersand should appear.

What happens instead?
  No ampersand appears.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
  It's working right in the latest stable chrome release.
  Pasting an ampersand works fine.
