Updates: Labels: -Area-Misc Area-BrowserUI Comment #2 on issue 9346 by kasp...@chromium.org: In blank new tab, bookmark line disappear while loading a new page http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=9346
Additional information: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open the new tab page (preferably on a slow machine). 2. Enter a slow-loading URL in the Omnibox and hit enter. 3. Notice that the bookmarks bar resizes (grows) and then disappears before the web site appears in the tab. 4. Optionally use "back" and "forward" buttons to replay the transition a couple of times to help spot the glitch. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect the bookmarks bar (and the entire NTP) to remain unchanged while transitioning to another URL. When the bookmarks bar disappears the other contents on the NTP shifts up and the result isn't nice on the eyes. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
