reposting this relevant comment here:
i investigated this a bit more and realized Ctrl+Shift alignment shortcut  
in windows
only works when Ctrl is pressed first (so pressing Shift before the Ctrl  
doesn't
trigger it)
here the order doesn't matter (and maybe it should matter so people won't  
press it by
accident?)

keys order does matter in IE, Windows, Notepad but doesn't matter in MS  
Word (2003)
and Chrome
