This goes at least as far back as 1.0.154.48 so this has nothing to do with
string morphing or any recent
changes. We can put a workaround into V8 to avoid crashing in this
situation. The underlying issue will not be
addressed though, there are still going to be symbols for which the
external resource is going to be NULL. They
will just not match any symbol lookup.
