Yes. In other words, the surrounding parts of hotmail, such as the list of  
folders
and the masthead, are normal, but the email itself has a black or blue  
background. In
IE and Firefox, the background appears as white and the text as black.

In IE and Firefox, there's an option for setting the default background  
where no
background is specified (so I could force pages to appear white if  
necessary), but
there's nothing like that in Chrome.
