We probably can't account for every possible interpreter / unsafe renderer that might be installed on a system and registered to handle a particular file extension (say, I have http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/ installed, but I don't expect Chrome or Safari to know what au3 files do), although we might try to cover the most common ones... how common is Python on Windows?
