darren.hoo, et al, Thank you for your comments. I noticed I forgot calling gtk_im_context_focus_in() and gtk_im_context_focus_out(). Also, I noticed I called gtk_im_context_set_client_window() improperly. They cause compatibility problems with many IMEs. (I noticed these problems on Fedora 11 + iBus + PinYin.)
