What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open "Home" page
2. Move cursor over webpage thumbnail.
What is the expected result?
Buttons to pin or close thumbnails should always be visible, regardless of
cursor position.
What happens instead?
Pin and close buttons are invisible until the cursor is placed over the
thumbnail, which causes them to slowly appear.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
With the buttons initially being invisible, it's easy for the user to
accidentally click the X if they didn't know it was there. The buttons are
active (will respond to a click) before they even appear. This can become a
bigger problem for touch-based PCs, because there's no way to move the
cursor onto the thumbnail to display the buttons.
A suggestion would be to keep the buttons visible at all times. To help
keep them from being too distracting, the "frame" can be set to about 50%
opacity until the cursor is over the thumbnail, in which case it becomes
100% opaque (instantly or with a quick 500ms animation).
