What steps will reproduce the problem?
Difficult to reproduce as it happens after a while of using Chromium, but
once it occurs all new tabs exhibit the problem.

What is the expected result?
Pages with text!

What happens instead?
No text on pages whatsoever.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
See screenshots attached for Gmail and The Guardian websites. Problem
resolves after a browser restart but re-occurs on each session. First saw
this problem yesterday as well before this morning's update to current  
version.
