New issue 16712 by peng.thinkblue: Startup doesn't honor user preferences http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16712 Chrome Version : 3.0.194.0~svn20090712r20470-0ubuntu1~ucd1~jaunty OS + version : Ubuntu 9.04 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32-bit window manager : Compiz URLs (if applicable) : http://localhost/ Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): n/a Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): n/a What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open Options > Basic. Set a specific home page and click the radio button to specify that the home page should be shown at startup 2. Close Chrome|Chromium 3. Launch Chome|Chromium What is the expected result? My specified home page should be launched at startup What happens instead? Chrome|Chromium shows the about:linux-splash page rather than my specified home page Sending this via Epiphany because I keep getting 400 Bad Request errors when trying to sumbit it from within Chromuim Having placed the Home button on my toolbar lets me get to my Home page easily, but I shouldn't have to since I am allowed to set a preference otherwise.
