However, that should be a separate feature request. It's issue 17312.
BTW, while testing this, I found that a file with a character between
U+0080 - U+00FF
can't be opened with drag'n'drop. I thought I had fixed it in
http://codereview.chromium.org/151065, but I was wrong (TEST= even doesn't
mention
drag'n'drop).
