Thank you for your replies. I've just tried it on ubuntu hardy 64-bit and
reproduced
the problem. I got an error about libgio and elf class mismatch. (issue
12193 and
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/Linux64BitIssues ).

2.0/2.10.0/filesystems/libgio.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
As reported, the file chooser works fine, but the file field is not
populated with a
file name. When I tried to submit nonetheless, chrome crashed.
To ignacio and jdanni, are you on 64-bit or 32-bit Linux? Can you also
tell us what
Linux distsribution you use?
