What he said.  Please, please tell me you aren't using metrics from the  
redesigned UI
to justify said redesign.  I'd like to think the circular logic in that is
self-evident, but I also thought the net loss in usability would be  
self-evident.
(Easy to miss, hard to reach from the nav buttons, breaks browser UI  
tradition and
raises the learning curve for every new user... for what?  A few pixels on  
the left,
in the era of widescreen?  Not even that, if you combine it with Reload.  
(Although
that's not my preference.))
