I don't know if this is exactly the same issue, but I believe it is similar. Visit http://www.cracked.com Click on a link to an article. Once the page loads, right-click on the back button of Chrome. You will see multiple entries for the two pages you just visited (the Cracked.com home page and the article you just clicked). If you look at chrome://history/ there is only one entry for each link. However, it's almost impossible to hit "back" to go to the previous page.
