Re #2: The issue with the primary selection being unset when you deselect text in the Omnibox should be fixed by http://codereview.chromium.org/151006 . Re #1: There was a monster thread about this in the review for http://codereview.chromium.org/159185 . You LGTM-ed the behavior implemented by that patch (update PRIMARY when clicking in the location bar, because it's hard to copy all of its text otherwise), so I'll assume that you're okay with it. :-) The issue with Facebook's highlighting of its "Email" text updating PRIMARY is a divergence from Firefox, though, and still an issue.
