Comment #20 on issue 3041 by colin.john.dickens: DNS pre-fetching causes frequent internet loss http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3041
I also found that using chrome caused my adsl modem/router to lose some internet functionality. I have solved this by disabling the dns proxy on the router, and instead passing the ISP dns address directly to the PC. My guess is that pre- caching DNS addresses was overloading the DNS proxy on the router. By bypassing the DNS proxy I can leave chrome's pre-caching enabled with no problems. My router is a Solwise SAR-600EW. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
