New issue 18265 by chris.frostnet.net: Detaching a few tabs freezes the
source window
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18265

Chrome Version : 3.0.196.0-r22005
OS + version : Ubuntu 8.04
CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32-bit
window manager : kwin
URLs (if applicable) : n/a
Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): n/a
Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): untested

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Detatch a few tabs (probably 2-5) from a window
2. Try to use the window the tabs came from

What is the expected result?
The window respond to keyboard or mouse input.

What happens instead?
- It does not respond to any keyboard and mouse events that I have tried.
- As I move the mouse over the frozen window or type into the frozen
window, the console repeatedly prints:
"[25848:25848:3833476678787:ERROR:/b/slave/chrome-official-
linux/build/src/chrome/app/chrome_dll_main.cc(193)] Gtk: gtk_widget_event:
assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed"
(except that the time field advances with each line, of course).
For each key press and release pair two of these lines are printed.

I have only fixed the issue by restarting chrome.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot
and backtrace if possible.
