Comment #25 on issue 6666 by vikutty: Chrome not passing proxy
authentication details
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6666

Hi all
There could be a work around for this issue. This could happen because of
the proxy
authentication password changes which has been saved already by the
browser. You
could try clearing all the passwords from the IE. The system would ask for
the proxy
password again. Enter the password and regain access to the network again.

In case you need steps to remove the passwords
1. Start IE and go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Browsing history – Delete
2. Delete all passwords
3. Start Chrome and hopefully won’t you get locked out

In case you dont find it working, there is a definite another solution that
you can
help you all out. You need to find the file that holds the earlier
authentication
information and delete it. I followed this for Safari and it did work for
Chrome as
well. May be someone can help with the file name and location for this.

Thanks
Vinodh S
