Other people have had this problem before. its on one of the chrome forums, but I forget which one. Well, it happened on my Windows 7 until I added live.mail.com to my trusted sites a while back. just before this comment I removed it and it still works for me. I have no anti-virus programs on my PC. I install one once in a while to check but remove it afterwards as they never really work for me (They never find any viruses). Maybe, on a computer which is having the issues debug chrome or the computer as its failing (This you can't do in the Inspector). And Maybe that might tell you whats going on. It *might* be the firewall (doubt it). I have just removed mail.live.com off my other pc's trusted sites list and chrome still works fine with mail.live.com.
