here is a screenshot of the two paste results
i also noticed that formating that pasted block using the toolbar in gmail
(quote,
indent more, indent less) is also messy compared to the way IE does this.
for example the quote sign is only added to the first line so that the
columns are no
longer in order.
a few indent more can really cause the pasted numbers to spread all over
