What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open new tab
2. Enter http://chromium.googlecode.com/files/chromecomicJPGS.zip in
omnibox and press Enter
3. File starts downloading
What is the expected result?
The URL stays in the omnibox
What happens instead?
Omnibox becomes either empty, or shows "about:blank".
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
If I want to copy the URL of the file, the most obvious place to copy from
would be omnibox; also, I tend to close "empty tabs" without looking down,
and tab with empty URL looks unused.
