has changed has a flash of old content

Chrome Version       : 4.0.202.0
OS version               : 10.5.8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Load a page whose content will change over time
2.  Open a new tab
3.  Switch to the original tab

What is the expected result?

The tab shows the updated content.

What happens instead?

There is a brief, but detectable flash of the content from the last viewed
state of the page before it updates to the new state.
