New issue 20370 by deep...@chromium.org: Chrome Helper processes do not quit after a crash http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=20370 Platform: Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 (Build 9L31a) Processor: 2 Intel 2.33 GHz RAM: 2048 MB Chrome: Chrome version: 4.0.203.1 Release QuickTime Player: 7.6.2 Flash Player: 10.0.22.87 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Crash Chrome (Steps in bug: 20366) 2. Check the activity monitor for Google Chrome Helper processes. Expected: We should not have any Google Chrome Helpers running after Chrome quits. Actual: The Chrome Helpers are still running and are shown in red (not responding) in the activity monitor. A sample of this process is attached.
