What steps will reproduce the problem?
0. You need two monitors set up in TwinView mode for this.
1. Start Chromium, open a few tabs.
2. Start nvidia-settings and switch off the secondary monitor (X Server
Display Configuration / Layout / Select Monitor / Resolution = Off /
Apply)
What is the expected result?
The Chromium window should be visible.
What happens instead?
It disappears. System Monitor tells that all chromium processes are still
running.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
The same thing happens after killing all chromium processes, re-starting
the browser, and switching on the second monitor (Resolution = Auto /
Apply)
I'm using nvidia driver v180.44 x64, not sure if it's reproducible on
other video cards / drivers.
