What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select a complete (by double-clicking or otherwise) or partial URL in
the URL bar.
2. Perform a Copy action (by right-clicking >> "Copy" or CTRL-C)
3. Try to perform a Paste action (by right-clicking >> "Paste" or CTRL-P)
within Chrome (in a text typing area or in the URL bar of another Chrome
Tab or window
What is the expected result?
Previously copied text should be pasted at the cursor position.
What happens instead?
Nothing or previously copied text is pasted (text previously copied from a
context/application).
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
A possible turnaround is to "Cut" the URL text from the URL bar. Cut text
can then be pasted in any context.
