Eh.. the NEW buttons look much more like the default in ubuntu¹... My main complaints are: 1.) if you move the mouse over a button, only the edges change to a lighter color, imho the whole background should change because it gives a nicer feedback (and it is what most metacity themes seem to do) 2.) if maximized, the close button is still "missing" the upper-right corner.
