I was having the same problem as above, I was able to resolve the issue by following the steps below: 1) Right click on the task bar 2) Click Properties 3) Select the Start Menu tab 4) Ensure that both check boxes under privacy are checked 5) Click OK 6) Start Chrome If "Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar" is unchecked, the jumplist for chrome won't show up. I would think that the "Tasks" portion of the jump list still should work, but for chrome it seems to currently be all or none.
