if you want to go to intranet site http://X/, you can type X/ in the
address bar. If
you don't like typing the extra /, then just type X and wait for the "did
you mean"
infobar---after you click that once chrome will remember and take you
straight to
http://X/ next time.
That said, I was able to reproduce the bug.
