New issue 21728 by sagar.mittal: The window border is tiled. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=21728 Chrome Version : 4.0.207.0-r25617 OS + version : Ubuntu Hardy CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64-bit window manager : metacity URLs (if applicable) : Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): don't know. What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Start up chrome. 2. Disable "Use system title bar and borders" 3. Pay entirely too much attention to the window borders. The effect is more visible with the "grayscale" theme since it has a more dramatic gradient. What is the expected result? The gradient appears only at the top of the window. What happens instead? The gradient re-appears at evenly spaced vertical intervals along the window borders. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible.
