New issue 21843 by trebacz: Website requiring authentication fails with  
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error.

Chrome Version       : 4.0.206.0
URLs (if applicable) : two separate internal URL's to my internal network
(SmoothWall firewall and BackupPC backup solution)
Other browsers tested:
   Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
   Konqueror 4.3.1: OK
   Firefox 3.x: OK
          IE 7: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to a website that requires "Authorization Dialog" box - Term that KDE
uses on the dialog box presented over the browser

What is the expected result? Provide correct credentials (login and
password) and then log into the site.


What happens instead? After putting in the correct credentials for the site
-an error message is returned:

This webpage is not available.

The webpage at http://trebacz-smoothwall:81/cgi-bin/index.cgi might be
temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

The error seems consistent with any application that requires the
authorization dialog. My operating system is KDE 4.3.1 64bit AMD.
