i'm not sure if this is the best title for two reasons: 1) not just word+period is affected. for example, word+slash also is. 2) not all subsequent edits "don't affect period". for example, after double clicking "code" in "code.google.com", and then pressing backspace, the period IS affected. however, if after the selection, a character like "a" is pressed, the period is not affected. i know the title can't encompass the entire bug. but it probably shouldn't misrepresent it. i would go with something a little more like "Double clicking in Omnibox selects word+punctuation but subsequent edits don't always affect that punctuation". -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
