Hmm, I still see very poor scroll speed compared to Firefox. But on closer inspection that seems to be due to the double-finger scroll gesture. If I use the scroller widget at the side, Chromium 4.0.207 is still a bit slower than Firefox but not dramatically so. If I use the two-fingered trackpad scroll, Chromium stutters unusably and Firefox is smooth.
