With version 4.0.211.7, I was unable to do a bookmark sync from behind a
Proxy but
was able to do a bookmark sync with No Proxy. Since the update to
4.0.213.1, I am no
longer able to do a successful bookmark sync from this laptop with or
without Proxy.
With version 4.0.213.1 and No Proxy on this laptop I am having the
following results:
I am prompted to provide my login credentials,which are accepted, then the
prompt
changes to say that the bookmarks will be merged (see attached files). The
bookmarks
are never merged and the bookmark sync login information is not saved.
Attempting to
perform additional bookmark syncs has the same results.
However, I am using version 4.0.213.1 on my home desktop (with No Proxy)
and the
bookmark sync function is working as expected. At least it is copying the
bookmarks
into Google Apps. I have not verified that the bookmarks would be
synchronized
correctly to another machine.
