What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create Chrome Application Shortcut to GMail
2. Close all instances of Chrome
3. Start GMail via Chrome Application Shortcut
4. GMail window starts, icon on Windows Taskbar is GMail icon
5. Start regular Chrome Window
6. The regular window has the icon of GMail.
What is the expected result?
The taskbar icon should be the usual Chrome icon
What happens instead?
The taskbar window has the GMail logo
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I am using Windows 7. Since this version of windows groups applications
differently, the result of the incorrect task bar icon, is multiple Chrome
windows appear and are grouped as GMail windows. This makes finding the
correct window difficult.
If Chrome is started first and then any application shortcut window is
started next, the task bar icon is correct.
