Updates: Status: Fixed Comment #3 on issue 24101 by miran...@chromium.org: Can't install the theme "Greyscale," other themes work correctly (hosed profile) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=24101
The problem with this profile is that the Preferences file is corrupt; there is data for the Greyscale theme stored in the Extensions directory, but there is no corresponding entry for the theme data in the Preferences file. This can happen on the very rare occasion that the browser crashes after the theme data file has been written, but before the preferences file has been written. If you still want to use this profile, you can fix your problem specifically by removing the folder in your Extensions directory marked "penkf...", thus resolving the conflict between the preferences and the actual data, forcing the browser to download the theme anew on next install. The good news is that this no longer happens on ToT; the format of stored extensions is different, and a corrupt preferences file will not break themes. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
