Don't think Google Desktop is involved here either. But the bug hasn't surfaced since my last post here (#160) a few weeks ago, which prompted me to blog about the work- around I found. I don't have VLC installed, but I do have a similar program KMPlayer installed. I have not tried any themes either. I'm up to 3.0.195.25 now as well, and like I said it hasn't happened in weeks.
