If you are in the install/remove menu from ubuntu, and you select that you want to see all available applications, and you go to sound then you see somewhere a last.fm application. If you first open that app, you get a wizard. It ask you for a password and username, i don“t had a account so i click sign up now or something like that.You will be redirected to the last.fm webpage where you can login.
